When do we collect your personal information?
We collect information from you when you register to participate, subscribe to our newsletter, or fill out any form on our site.
What personal information do we collect?
When registering on our site, as appropriate, you will be asked to enter some types of personal information in order to participate. You may, however, choose to visit our site anonymously.
Be aware that, like all websites, some information is collected by our web server when you visit, such as IP address, your web browser type, pages visited.
What do we use your information for?
The information we collect from you may be used:
- To process your registration and enable your participation
- In an aggregated form to help analyse our data and add value to our published project findings
Your email address may be used:
- To send you information essential to your participation
- To update you on our project
All contact from us will include information on how to remove yourself from subscriptions and our mailing lists.
Will you be able to track how I voted?
No. Just like when your ballot drops into a physical ballot box, the ability to connect your registration information to the ballot is lost.
Do we disclose any information to outside parties?
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to any company or other organization for any reason whatsoever.
Note that the use of our "tell a friend", or other mechanisms which invoke the sending of emails, will expose your email address to other parties.
